The site became known as the 149th Street Writers Bench, and it is legendary in graffiti lore.

It's not mean he been killed by somebody but in an accident that when the floor of a burning collapsed while he was inside looking for survivors. He is Michael C. Reilly and this was happened on August 27,2006. Reilly was one of 138 firefighters who had responded to the the fire at a 99-cent store in the Bronx.
